Charlotte Day is a professional singer, songwriter, producer and vocal coach originally from Macclesfield, Cheshire in the North West of England.
She started making music at the tender age of 14 with nothing more than a basic home keyboard and four-track recorder. Whilst at college she thrived on live music and joined her first band as lead vocalist. Two years later, at the age of 18, she qualified with a diploma in I.T. but already knew then that music was to be her vocation in life.
In a short space of time she was astounding audiences far and wide and was spotted by a local producer who immediately offered Charlotte her first development and publishing contract. This marked the next stage in her career and allowed her to expand on studio techniques as well as giving her the opportunity to write more of her own material.
In 1998 she had her first international release with the debut single 'Sureshot' by Daytona. Subsequently, collaboration with other writers and producers lead to further recording success as well as many appearances on national television and radio.
In 2004 Charlotte performed, co-wrote and co-produced on the album 'Anthem Alert' by euro dance outfit 'Soda Club', later followed by her first UK number one club chart hit 'Finally', released in 2005 on EMI Records and produced by multi-platinum remixers Love To Infinity.
In 2010 a collaboration with Neoteric Records resulted in a worldwide release of the single 'Pride (a deeper love)' which featured mixes from top uk producers 7th Heaven and soulshaker.
Today, with over 25 years experience in the music industry, Charlotte has carved a successful career not only as an artist in her own right but also as a highly experienced session singer. Conversant in many styles ranging from jazz to pop, her voice has appeared on numerous top 40 records, and she has recorded for the likes of Heather Small, Dannii Minogue, Loleatta Holloway, and Faith Hill to name a few, as well as many chart topping dance producers.
With an eclectic taste in Music, Charlotte's original work embraces many genres, with much inspiration coming from artists such as KT Tunstall, Carole King, Fleetwood Mac and The Corrs amongst others.
She regularly performs live throughout the UK, both solo and as a duo, and also with her party band all of which feature some of the north west's finest musicians. For further information please visit the EVENTS page.
